I made this little hat last fall as a gift for a friend who was pregnant and didn't want to find out the gender of her baby. I was going to add a ribbon or bow had it been a girl, but she had a sweet little boy. I didn't measure the hat circumference, but her baby is now 5 months and is still able to wear it, though it's getting a tad tight now. I didn't test this pattern, but it's super quick and easy and I think it makes a fun gift for either an infant girl or boy!
