We've been super busy in these parts, so busy that I would think about blogging and letting you know what I was up to, only to collapse into bed and zonk out before accomplishing any of that :)
I hadn't realized how busy Kindergarten Christmas stuff is, and then I think I've overextended myself a bit at his school with volunteering in his class and the Library and the PTO, but it's good to know what's going on I think, so I guess it'll continue this way and I'll just adjust.
Crocheting has practically come to a standstill lately. I started working on the spiderweb blanket from a couple of patterns I'd seen online, but wasn't really feeling them, so I started doing something on my own and forgot to write it down, so after putting it down for a week had no idea what I was doing and had to frog a bit to remember. Needless to say, the blanket didn't get finished.
I did make two waldorf style dolls for my little girl and niece, that was a fun learning experience, but took up a ridiculous amount of time! I'm still working on a tiny one for her doll to have a doll- go figure. I got a teacher's scarf done and almost finished my dad's and mom's scarves but wasn't able to pull through. I'm amazed at people who blog all the time- they're my inspiration since I can't seem to get the hang of it lately.
I think I'll just have to keep trying, as long as I continue to give it a go, I think one of these times it'll stick and I'll be up and running again. Thanks for all of you who've stuck by when weeks have gone by with nary a post. Here's hoping 2010'll be the year for super blogging :)
