:: What's been going on the last couple of weeks, save the hive thing ::
:: My aunt's chicken potholder that I finally finished, from my Japanese Potholder book with some adjustments. I made the body and the head looked ridiculously small, so I increased it a round and added more to the comb. And since my cousin thought it looked dead with the X eye, I made her sleeping instead. ::
:: First day of preschool ::
:: Camping at the beach, this was the first day when we took a walk around to see what was what, obviously they couldn't wait to put their swimsuits on :) ::
:: The next morning, both of them wanted to be buried in the sand, and both stayed there for around 20 minutes without moving. My husband and I were sort of just standing around twiddling our thumbs waiting for one to want to get out ::
:: Then tons of food, this was my plates shared with both of my little ones, so that we'd be able to get to...::
:: Tons of cakes, this one a raspberry cheesecake with white chocolate- I don't remember exactly, I didn't taste this one ::
:: Nor did I taste this chocolate mousse one, I was saving all the room for... ::
:: THIS! I LOVE fruit tarts more than any other dessert, and this one always is fabulously delicious! ::

::Here's the other chocolate one, there was a bit of a chocolate overload because of this little chocoholic's 80th birthday ::
:: My grandpa turned 80, so we had a big party over at my aunt's house. My grandma was sitting on his lap cracking up over some hilarious joke I was telling. Nah, I think he was just pinching her tush :) ::

:: My little girl's been really into mermaids lately, so here's the latest doll. The pattern'll be available soon, I'm not done with her yet. I have to finish the hair, and embroider on her, she won't be topless either. ::
:: I'm still not finished with the flower blanket pattern either, hopefully I can get it done this weekend, but I'm really shooting for availability around the first week of September. ::
:: I think that's it, the hives are gone too. I didn't really think anyone would want to see pictures of that though! That really freaked me out, and I'm trying to figure out what's going on with it. I ended up having a reaction to the medication I was prescribed, so I had to go back to urgent care since my hands swelled and felt like they were on fire, and instead of the rash going away, it had gotten worse. Thankfully that's gone away since I stopped taking the medication, I think I'm going to have to do some sort of food elimination thing to see what's up. ::
