Blogiversary giveaway
Okey dokey, thanks to everyone who left such lovely birthday wishes, I had a good time ordering some fun stuff, shopping for some crafty supplies, getting to spend time with my husband watching Quantum of Solace and eating at my favorite Japanese restaurant while my parents had the kiddos for the day.
I'd planned on posting this sooner, but I just can't ever find the time right now! And something very disheartening is happening (pattern-wise) that I hope to write about soon, but not now. Now is the fun stuff!
I have a lot of crochet books, in fact way more than I need, including doubles of ones that I find that I plan to give away, but no one around me in real life crochets (except my grandma, but she doesn't read patterns nor wants to, so she's out too)!
I'm hoping you're interested in some of the extra books/booklets that I've collected this past year :)
Let's get the rules out of the way before getting to the items being given away-
- I'm thinking that I'm going to be using a random number generator to choose a winner.
- Next, I'm leaving this open until December 7th, we'll be at Disneyland for my son's 5th birthday, but the comments will remain open until 11:59pm with the winner announced Monday morning.
- You can enter twice, but there are conditions to that- the first way to enter is to leave a comment, then the second way to enter is to post about this on your own blog, and then come back and leave another comment with the url to the blog post :)
- Now, what to leave in the first comment- I think it'd be nice if you left a comment sharing what you think my next doll should be- try to be original and creative, and if someone's already left your idea, definitely feel free to come up with another!
- This is independent of the book contest, but the person whose doll idea I choose will receive either the pattern, or the doll that I make from that pattern- you get to choose!
Does that make sense? If not you can ask about when you leave a comment and I'll edit the post if need be.
The books:
Hooked on Crochet by Candi Jensen
Funky Chunky Crocheted Accessories by Jan Eaton
Candy Babies by Candi Jensen
Adorable Crochet for Babies and Toddlers by Lesley Stanfield
The New Crewel by Katherine Shaughnessy
Sew Subversive by Melissa Rannels, Melissa Alvarado & Hope Meng
Doodle Stitching by Aimee Ray
Now, the images of the books will be added tomorrow since one of the joys of living in a one computer household is having to get off of it so that my husband can finish a final assignment. Fun stuff.
