Felt flowers, the thread cape & crocheted trim dress...Finally.

Okey dokey, I've finally gotten a bit of time to get my pictures sorted & cropped, up on flickr, blah, blah, blah.  So here they are- proof that I actually have been making various things :)

The felt flowers that I was going to wear in my hair a la Frida Kahlo, but didn't end up using all of them.  I actually made like six or seven of them, but I couldn't find them all to take the picture.

and crocheted trim on.

The cape I made out of thread from the Japanese pattern book...I can't remember which one right now, but I'll find it & update someday.

And I think that's it.  I'm finishing up some patterns so they'll be up soon too!

I get the impression that you like red. lol! Those are some great projects. Love the dress and cape!

I really like all of these projects. It is amazing how by just adding some embroidery and trim to the little dress changed it---it really looks great. The little apron is so cute too. The felt flowers are very nice---are they from a pattern? Were the flowers hard to make? I am already trying to think of things I can make with my daughter when she gets out of school for the summer. Great job!

Wow, those felt flowers are really pretty! I like the shape of the petals on the top-most one.
Love the red border and cap - didn't you say you were going to stay awat from red for a while? LOL. Beautiful work!

Ha! Laura, I definitely plan on staying away from red for a while, these were the projects that made me say that! LOL

Thanks too Ashley & Lynn, by the way the flowers were super easy to make, I'll try to post about how I made them specifically soon!

that is just tooooooo precious......love the trim you did.
